About Me

Hi, my name is Yubing Xie, or if you like, call me Jackie.

I graduated from the University of Michigan with a computer science (BS) degree in April 2018.  My undergraduate capstone project is computer game design, this course reinforced my passion for game development because it was the first course that I can work (literally) day and night and enjoy it.  Also, our instructors said they spent way more time on grading our project than others because it is fun to play it.

Then, I graduated from the University of Southern California with a Computer Science-game development (MS) degree and I am glad I can take this program since it is teaching me exactly what I need. There is a lot to learn in game development. Last Semester, I published a Horror Game Sole survivor VR (Oculus Rift) on itch.io. I also worked as an advanced game project (AGP) director/creative director in the USC game for a one-year-long student game project.
